Cruciferous Veggies Help Protect Against Lung Infection

According to the reports of Francis Crick Institution in London they found a molecule in cruciferous veggies can be a good barrier to many diseases and infections.

Vegetables like broccoli, and cauliflower boost a protein named Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor ( AHR), which helps in preventing lung infection.

From early years, every individual is advised to eat more and more veggies in their diet by the doctors. Not only are they healthy but also help in boosting your immune system and many diseases. It reduces the risk factor for obesity, improves mental health, and many more.

Researchers have found out that AHR helps to prevent our lungs from infection, pollution, and bacteria. The lung barrier has two layers such as endothelial cells and epithelial cells.

According to the report Dr. Andreas Wack has decided to study AHR because it has been studied for the skin and gut but very less about lung in stem cells. It helps immensely in preventing lung infection.
